We have finally enrolled in all our classes for fall semester. It is as follows:
Mondays: Elijah ECFE class in evening
Tuesdays: Alex and Elijah Music Together Class at local nursing home, with nursing home
residents.
Thursdays: Alex Spanish the Easy Way ECFE class.
In between all of those busy evening classes we plan to fit in Advent services down the road as well as a little family time at home.
We went to a trial class for the boys' music class yesterday at the nursing home to make sure it was something that would work with our kids. Alex was amazing and seemed to love having an extra audience of about 10 nursing home residents. The residents loved the boys as well. One lady complimented me on Alex's manners when he responded with, "Your welcome." after she thanked him. Another ignored my handshake during a song to grab Elijah's hand to talk with him. I think this class with be beneficial for our boys as well as add a little joy to the resident's days. We've already gotten our CD for the fall class and Alex is already learning the songs as we drive in the car and play at home, by the time class starts in 4 weeks he'll know them all by heart.
Alex and Elijah stayed home with our wonderful sitter, Stella, today. Stella told me a funny comment Alex made that he couldn't hit mommy or daddy because its dangerous. WHAT A GOOF. He has recently caught me saying words that we tell him not to say and then he responds with, "Mommy we don't say stupid!" "Mommy we don't say shut up!" Sadly both times I've been caught I didn't think he was listening!
Elijah is most definitely having some teething issues! He's screechy and droolly and gnaws on our fingers or his own majority of the time. I'm dreading the first bite! Look at this smile though, something tells me it will be impossible not to forgive him! :)
