The State Fair
On Labor Day we made a trip to the State Fair, we walked a lot and saw a few sites and ate some greasy fair food. By the end of the day, we found that the cost of the fair gets higher and higher, we paid $5 for cheese curds, $6 for "the worlds best fries", and $3 for a pop. As well as, $9 for parking and $11 for each adult admission. We did a lot of walking and saw a few sites, one of our favorite was "The Little Farm Hands." Alex tried out the life of a farmer by feeding cows, sheep, chickens, and planting seeds. He also got to drive a tractor, which was the highlight for him! When he fed the sheep he got wool, when he fed the chicken he got eggs, and when he fed the cow he was able to milk the cow. We took all our goods to the market and "sold" them for money and purchased a cool prize, Alex chose a travel Cheerio container. Thankfully we were able to catch this on the camera before the battery died!
