Expanding Vocab

Alex has begun the world of 2-3 word sentences, with phrases such as, "Mommy ball!" After saying, "I drop it," when he dropped the ball. He also says, "Dogs Barking!" when the dogs are outside barking or in the living room barking out the window. How fun it is to see him grow and develop, and the look on his face when he figures something out is amazing! We have truly been blessed with our little boy.

I am currently trying to break him of the habit of calling himself baby. He is beyond a baby now and we're working on him saying his name when he sees himself or pictures of himself.

Yesterday he had an alphabet block with the letter "A" on it, he said, "A, Ah"which is what his refrigerator magnet toy says. Its quite cool to see him put the connection between a letter on his magnet to the letter in another place.

We are also working on "yes" and "no" answers. Currently he says "No" to most yes/no questions.

See the pictures below for our experience at Hiniker pond. Alex is such a fish, I could hardly keep him out of the water and he put his head under with no complaints. My next goal is to get him a body suit that he can wear with a floaty on it so he can be more independent in the water like he wants.
