Elijah's Latest

Elijah is developing at an exponential rate recently. He never ceases to amaze us with the things he does. He's definitely mastered pulling himself up with furniture and just in the last few days seems more steady on his feet with walking around furniture. He is becoming a daredevil and attempting things that he shouldn't be, and sometimes getting by with them, while other times he ends up with boo-boo's. He transfers himself from one object to another while standing, with a wing and a prayer, he pretty much propels himself and hopes for success.

He's also learning how to cry to get attention, as well as how to get big brother into trouble. I caught him a couple times today whining about nothing, and then getting after Alex for bothering him, when (guess what!) Alex had nothing to do with it.

He has 4 'words;' "Dada," "Mama," "Hi," and "Dah" (which we've translated to mean dog), today he enunciated his babble to sound like he was trying to say Alex as well.

He's eating majority of table food for meals, and does a good job of making a mess of himself. We were immediately reminded why spaghetti was good and bad for toddlers, its easy for them to adjust to eating, but makes a HUGE orange mess!!

Alex continues to amaze us as well, and demonstrates how it is to be a good big brother majority of the time.
