Elijah:
- stood up on his own next to the coffee table tonight, hoisting himself up.
- is finally making a few efforts to crawl on hands and knees
- has currently mastered slithering self around the house and is pretty speedy at it!
- loves his pointer and middle finger on his right hand, see pics below
- is working on "da da's" "mama's (which actually sound more like nana's)" "do"(which seems to occur when he sees the dogs)
- Is growing like a weed. Wears majority 12 months clothes, but is rapidly moving into 12-18 month clothes.
- currently has 6 visible teeth, but I'm thinking there are a couple soon to pop through.
- does an awesome job with letter sounds, he knows them all, the only one throwing him off a little is N vs. M
- Sings tons! He knows so many songs and makes them up on his own as well.
- Could spend hours playing on his own, will be found playing with a handful of toys, carrying on a pretend conversation between them.
- Loves to practice cutting with his toddler scissors
- Is developing a defiant attitude, included in this, questioning everything we tell him with, "why?"
- Is also developing selective hearing, and does a wonderful job of it, definitely not something we'd like to encourage!
- has had one of his tubes fall out of his ear, and following that, started back on the ear infection trail, we see the ENT next week.
A series of silly pictures the boys posed together for. Alex was actually cooperative for the pictures, which is a first in a long time!
