Belated Birthday News

Jeremy saw Elijah smile for the first time on his birthday! What a birthday gift. The two of them sat and talked (gurgled) back and forth for a while exchanging smiles. Alex was so excited for Jeremy's birthday because it meant he would get cake. We were at the ENT doctors office for a checkup of Alex's tubes when he said to me, "Mommy, we need a cake for Daddy's birthday." We have definitely had our share of sweets in the past week!

We had a fun family day for Jeremy's birthday, heading out to the Tav for supper, to the mall for Jeremy's birthday gift (a new board game, YIPPEE!!), and then to Alex's favorite place, Target. We stopped and picked up a movie at the Redbox (free rental codes are great!) and then came home in time for a quick piece of cake before bedtime.
