Busy Weekend!

We had a fun-filled, busy weekend! Grandma Christine and Aunt Elayn were in town from Wisconsin, Grandma stayed all weekend and Aunt Elayn stayed Sunday night. Alex loved having a new audience to entertain. Grandma brought Alex a baby-size guitar that plays fun music that Alex likes to dance along to. He's also found that he can push the button over and over, restarting the song about 20 times! She also brought him a flip-phone like Daddy's that plays fun sounds.

Alex has really began copying words! Yesterday he was playing with his refrigerator toy and was playing with the honey magnet, all of a sudden he's repeating, "honey." We were so proud of him, we called grandma and "Papa" to have him say it for them. While he was on the phone, he was able to talk to Erica, Mike and Kate also. He's been saying Erica for a while, but last night, he amazed us all by saying, "Mike, Kate, and Grandma." Grandma told him that she had been picking up rocks and soon after, he repeated, "Rocks!"

We are really enjoying the spring weather, FINALLY!! We've been spending time outside, digging in the dirt, going for walks and playing at the park. If any of you are in our area, we welcome you to stop by! We love visitors!
