Alex and Jeremy surprised me with a new bike trailer for my bike! Alex, Erica and I took it out for a test run last night. Alex seemed to love the ride, but hated the helmet. We bribed him with juice and a piece of a cookie, and he seemed to get over it for a while, but halfway through the ride he was tugging on the helmet and saying, "All Done!" over and over and over. We went to the park where Alex was able to climb and go down the slides, he's still learning that you can't climb up from the bottom, but judging from the kids that were twice his size playing, they may never completely learn this!

Alex continues to amaze us with his vocabulary. He can tell you the sounds that a cow, duck, pig, horse, sheep, kitty and dog make. He tells us when he's finished eated by saying, "all done" or if his juice is gone he says, "all gone." He's currently in love with things with wheels, especially his "Choo-choo!" He has mastered climbing up onto the couch to look out the window, if he feels he needs help he says, "Up, peas!" He has also figured out that please truly is the magic word, and has this idea that no matter what he wants, if he says please first, he will get it!

We went to the doctor yesterday for his 15 month appointment (for those of you who are good with math, yes, we were over a month late!), he's sticking to the top of the charts, with his weight being 28 pounds (80% percentile), height 34 inches (95-97%), and his head was completely off the charts at 20 inches!

See below for some fun new pictures of the Jacob household!

Ready to get out at the park, "All Done!"

Man, this is fun! (for now!)

I'm getting away from Mommy!

Not so much fun, anymore!

Slam dunk!
