Alex is getting smarter by the day! He is learning so many words and really seems to comprehend them. Today I picked him up from daycare (they had gone to Sibley park, where there are peacocks) and asked him if he saw the birds, he walked to the door and pointed out the window at a bird and said, "birds, birds, birds."
He's been getting so excited about the things he learns. Within the last few weeks he has really learned who mommy is and who daddy is. He will sit in our arms and say, "Mommy, mommy, mommy." over and over. When he hears a dog bark, he right away says, "Dog." If we ask him where the fish are he walks right over to the fish tank and point to them saying, "fish."
He had a friend over to play yesterday, any of his toys that his friend played with that he hadn't touched for months, were the greatest things to play with! He is definitely not used to having to share his toys, as soon as his friend picked up a toy, he went over and tried to take it out of his hand.
